Generation FIVE's vision is to end the sexual abuse of children in five generations. Towards that end, Generation FIVE works to build a transformative justice framework focused on repairing relationships within communities that have experienced the sexual abuse of children. Understanding that people who experience violence are more likely to enact violence, and that prison sentences for people who cause harm both disproportionately impact People of Color and lead to the increased disruption of a community and/or family already devastated by sexual violence, Generation FIVE's work focuses on ending the intergenerational impact of sexual violence on children, their families, and communities. Founded in California, Generation FIVE is a national organization.
