Get Palantir Out of Our Hospitals

AI and the surge of data center constructions have been a focus of my work. Specifically: AI is increasingly aimed at replacing nursing decision-making with biased AI. Palantir, a dystopian corporation that is integral to policing, ICE, and the military, is now in hospitals doing utilization review, nurse scheduling, and more. I'm working with some National Nurse's Union (NNU) nurses here locally to amplify NNU's call to Abolish ICE and get Palantir out of our hospitals.
Why did you choose this intervention or strategy?
Because the weaponization of medical institutions poses a danger to us all.
How does this work disrupt the MIC?
The MIC is increasingly dominated by technology companies who actively promote a eugenics program.

What challenges have you faced?
Strengthening the networks, the mycelium being built here around these struggles. The biggest challenge is to get forces moving together!
How has this intervention changed over time?
The introduction of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in healthcare began about 20 years ago. In my health system, EPIC was installed in 2010. The recent rapid expansion and application of AI in healthcare - and the private equity financing to use it - has exponentially increased in the less than a year, along with executive orders allowing ICE in hospitals. It is a leading edge in the fight to stop a consolidation of fascism. Meanwhile, millions have lost health coverage.
