Patty Berne, Mia Mingus, and Sebastian Margaret co-create the framework in a political conversation to bring light to able-bodied supremacy and to show the interlocking, oppressive relationships between ableism and colonization, white supremacy, eugenics, and more.

The evolution of Disability Justice (DJ) principles is created in partnership with other key DJ leaders including Leroy Moore, Stacey Milbern, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Akemi Nishida, and Eli Clare, among many others.
