Alberta amends Canada's Sexual Sterilization Act.

The Legislative Assembly passes An Act to amend the Sexual Sterilization Act, which adds two new conditions as grounds for sterilization: neurosyphilis and epilepsy. Anyone housed in a state institution living with either of these can now be sterilized without consent.
