A New York University doctor reports on the use of electric shock therapy (today known as "electroconvulsive therapy" or "ECT") for homosexuality at an American Psychological Association (APA) meeting, pronouncing it "successful." The doctor says he used electric "intensities considerably higher than those usually employed on human subjects."
