National Institutes of Health lowers the thresholds for "obesity" and people considered "overweight."

Under the old criteria, a 5 foot 4 inch person would be considered overweight if they weighed 155 pounds or more. Under the new definition, the same person is considered overweight at 145 pounds or more.
