Shri Yogendra travels to the U.S. to teach yoga asana.

The practice of asana, developed by Yogendra, weaves together traditional yogic principles with the "physical culture" of Europe and the United States. Yogendra also begins the process of establishing scientific proof of yoga's benefits.

After returning to India, Yogendra will be prevented from coming back to the United States by the immigration restrictions of 1924.
