Toni Hudson, a 30-year-old Black woman, is charged with possession, distribution to a minor, and child endangerment after giving birth to a baby with cocaine in their bloodstream. After Hudson pleads guilty to possession of cocaine, the other two charges are dropped. She is sentenced to 150 days in jail, a $225 fine, and five years' probation, as well as being given the condition that she must seek prenatal care if she becomes pregnant again.
