To filter by a particular topic and see a smaller section of the data, make a selection on the dropdown “Filters” menu or click “Search” to do a keyword search. Hover over the abbreviated filter tags in the blue boxes to see the complete name of the filter, or click a filter to display all the data with this tag. The league concentrates on identifying and combating discrimination against people with disabilities. In particular, their work begins to name and address the problem of ableism. They begin focusing less on managing disability as a "problem" and more on supporting the identities and life experiences of people living with disabilities, as well as implementing political and structural change. The league is one of the first organizations to move away from a curative model.
