The research is a collaboration with Ohio State University and involves patients diagnosed with terminal cancer. Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital claims that participant consent has been given, but questions are raised concerning the vagueness of the language used to communicate about the tests. Two of the people in the first experiment will die as a result of these tests, but the research will continue.
