The Nelson Pill Hearings finally put the overall health impact of "the pill" on trial. However, the years of feminist medical research and organizing that brought the issue to light are largely dismissed. Instead, a series of male doctors meet to gather data and research, keeping out the feminist scientists and physicians who have been researching and fighting for attention on the pill's impact.
